I realise now that Dayz SA has gained modding, much of this stuff can be reimagined, however I feel like after many hours on DayzRP and other servers it just doesn't provide the same experience, especially because the modding support and map editing tools aren't available for everyone to just pick up unlike in Arma 3 where if you wanted someone to create a 'clan base', they would just hop in the editor, create it with a hundred objects and hand it over the admins. I think if one came back It would really bring a lot of players, provided it runs smoothly and the administration team stay on top of problems (such as the database issues faced by some of the previous mentioned servers which caused a decline in players), and create enough content in the server for people to do other than just 'survive' (I know that's the point of the whole thing but in order to sustain players there has to be something to do). Now days though, I can't find a single server on Arma like that. Arma 2 had some of the best survival RP I think the franchise has ever experienced, but there was so much potential with moving that into Arma 3, with great mods such as exile and desolation adding to that experience, and for a while it seemed it worked. I'm referring of course to servers such as ExistenceRP and AwakenRP which seem to have just disappeared.
